What type of domains are included?
Domains include root domains (your-domain.com), sub-domains (sub.your-domain.com), and localhost domains (directoryhub.local), and they are counted separately. For example, if you host Directory Hub on your-domain.com, sub.your-domain.com, and localhost, it counts as 3 domains.
What is an end-user?
End-user can be an individual if you purchase Directory Hub for yourself. On the other hand, if you are a freelancer or agency, and purchase Directory Hub on behalf of your client, the end-user is your client.
The regular license is always subject to 6 domains per license (purchase code) no matter if it’s an individual end-user or for-client end-user. Another license purchase is needed if you are planning to host the Directory Hub website in more than 6 domains.
In the case of a freelancer or agency who purchases the Directory Hub on behalf of a client, one license (purchase code) is for one client. Another license purchase is needed if you are offering Directory Hub to a second client.
We are a development team and work on Directory Hub for customization, what we should do for domain limit?
If you are a development team and work on Directory Hub on localhost, it means Directory Hub hosts on multiple localhost servers at the same time. In this case, the 6 domain limit terms still apply, but you can get rid of the limit by using the same localhost domain (e.g. directoryhub.local) on all developers’ localhost. Please send an email to helpdesk@alphastir.com, and we will manually add and verify your localhost domain.
